Concert Choir

The James A. Garfield Concert Choir is a vocal group open to all high school students. The group performs several concerts each year including performances at the Garrettsville Tower Lighting, Cedar Point, and OMEA Solo and Ensemble Contest. The choir is always looking for more opportunities to share our music.

Upcoming Events

11/30/24 Garrettsville Tower Lighting

The Concert Choir, and alumni, will be performing traditional carol and festive music before the Tower Lighting and Santa's arrival in town.

Concert will be held in the Downtown Garrettsville.

12/17/24 Winter Concert

Our Winter Concert will be held on December 17th at 7:30pm. The concert will feature traditional choral music and seasonal favorites. The Concert Choir will also be singing on the Youth Chorus Winter Concert which begins at 7:00pm.

Concert will be held in the Iva Walker Auditorium.

1/25/25 OMEA Solo & Ensemble

OMEA Solo & Ensemble will be held on January 25, 2025. This event will feature select students to perform.

Event will be held at Barberton High School.

1/28/25 Solo & Ensemble Concert

This concert will be a public performance of the pieces being performed at OMEA Solo & Ensemble along with the entire Concert Choir. This concert will be held on January 28, 2025.

Concert will be held in the Iva Walker Auditorium.
